Extended Care

Extended CareWhat is Extended care?

Whether it’s called a skilled nursing facility, a long term care facility or a nursing home, these are all facilities that provide extended care for individuals who do not require the acute care provided in a hospital but who need more care than can be given at home.

The extended care program at “Drug War Survival” helps identify in-depth barriers to on-going recovery and relapse prevention.

Our programs include:

  • Occupational therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Speech language pathology services
  • Community outings
  • One-on-one treatment with therapist

Drug War Survival offers residential programs as well as an extended care program to assist our patients with developing and retaining the life skills required to live sober for the rest of their lives.  Our extended care program aids alcoholics and drug addicts in realizing the quality of a sober life .Our exceptional extended care program is designed to treat all forms of substance abuse, including:

  • Crack cocaine
  • Methamphetamine
  • Heroin and club drugs
  • Alcohol and prescription drugs

We pride ourselves on the compassionate care our staff provide and welcome the opportunity to get to know not only our patients and residents, but their family members too.

We serve patients of any age who require short or long term care.  We also offer transitional housing – half way housing – to further provide support for our patients.

Our Program is divided into three rehabilitation phases. Our patients are given a little more freedom and responsibility with each phase while continuing to provide them with the structure of a rehab facility that they need as they get their life back on track.
